Central Select Auction 2017

07 September 2017, 11h00 AGRA Bank Windhoek Ring at the Windhoek Show Grounds

The Metzger family and the Kamab team want to thank everybody involved to make this Sale happen!

The Sale was really good, we enjoyed it and are very satisfied. Obviously, dealing with animals, things do go wrong: we had to withdraw Kamab Donald (Lot 32 : DM14232B) due to an injury which does not seem to heal. Kamab Arthur (Lot 20 : DM14617 (P))could not be presented, because his Sire does not have a DNA profile on record. Therefore, the Sire of Arthur could not be verified. It is a the rule of this Sale, to ensure quality and to ensure reliability, that only Sire verified Bulls may be sold. Arthur was sold a day after the Sale to a Stud Breeder. Kamab Tactic (Lot 46) was not sold during the Sale and is still here. The Simbra Bulls averaged N$ 42 471.00., whilst the average for the entire Sale was N$ 39 476.00. 46 bulls were presented to the public of which 42 were sold!
