Champions & Legends
Teufel (A8749F1) and Benjamin (UDM8848A) were the bulls that had the biggest influence in the Metsibra Simbra Stud in the beginning and were also the Sires who produced the real crackers, the Legends of the Kamab Simbra Herd: Tingeling (UDM9355B), Tundra (UDM91246B) and Bingo (UDM91314B).
Tingeling was used in 31 Simbra Herds and produced 642 registered calves. His sons produced 2209 registered calves until 11 May 2009. Tundra was used in 3 Herds and produced 171 calves. His sons, however, produced 2292 calves. Bingo, mainly a female Breeder, produced 160 calves in our herd only. Four of his sons produced 414 calves in other herds, one of them being Schubra Joe, who is a well known Bull in South African Simbra circles.

Teufel (A8749F1) – The father of the T-Line. One of the first Simbra Bulls bought at Makam Simbra Stud. His most famous sons are Tundra and Tingeling both of whom had a very large impact on Kamab Simbra as well as the overall Southern African Simbra Breed of today.

Bee-Es Steven (BS87165A) – This Bull goes back to the Simmentaler Polled Bull Nestau Steven. He was our third Stud Sire and had a significant influence in the Kamab Herd.

Benjamin (UDM8848A) – Another one of our first Simbra bulls. He and his sons bred star producing females. Benjamin is the father of the B-Line.

Metsibra Tundra (UDM91246B) – in his short life he produced probably some of the best bulls ever, by name: Timon, Poenskop, Texas, Rainie, Pumba, Klein Tundra, Rafiki , Scar and Troubadour. Scar is the father of Ben’s mother!

Metsibra Tingeling (UDM9355B) – his genetics are found in many pedigrees of famous bulls and females. He sired Teddi, Tarzan, Toronto, Toni Red, Thea, Tatjana, Skelempie and Ben all of which have left their mark in the Simbra Breed.

Metsibra Triple-V (UDM93213B) – In 1995 this bull was Junior and Breed Champion at the Pretoria show and subsequently sold to Mr. Fanie Mare for at that time record price of R 20 000.

Metsibra Bingo (UDM91314B) - One of our first bulls sired by Benjamin. Bingo is responsible for very beautiful and sound female lines as well as some really nice bulls such as Mango and Thabizo.

Kamab Tarzan (DM99102C) - Tarzan is a medium-framed Bull with good length and width, hard muscled. He was evntually sold to South Africa.

Metsibra Timon (UDM94218B) - In my mind, still the perfect Simbra Bull. He had it all: he was well muscled, he had a sound conformation, had a good temperament and excellent presence. He was also sold to South Africa.

Metsibra Texas (UDM95225B) - Texas was a smaller well musceled Bull with good breadth. He bred good females and passed his genes for a good temperament to his progeny. Sold to South Africa.

Kamab Toronto (DM00232C) - A Tingeling son with good bone, depth and tremendous length. Very good temperament.
